Who we’re looking for

We would love to work with someone who isn’t afraid to think and do things a bit differently, who uses their creative powers to solve challenges for others and sees every problem as an opportunity. You’ll be working on a variety of client and internal creative projects, so an enjoyment of varied project work is ideal. Most of all, we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us and help shape our own direction as much as we want to help them grow.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing digital experiences end to end
• Working across mobile apps, software & ‘traditional’ web, as well as blockchain, web3.0 and designing for NFT technology
• Solving design challenges for local, national and international clients
• Staying nimble by collaborating on and helping shape our own creative projects
• You’ll be in workshops with clients, planning and/or running them yourself (we can work up to this if you would like to grow in this area)
• Designing solutions with a variety of mixed discipline teams
• Performing user research, insight synthesis and prototype creation
• Do what makes you, you - Options for flexible hours based on client and project needs. We work remotely, in-house and at client premises.

Proficiencies we’re looking for

• Show us your sketching - We strongly value the ability to visually communicate your ideas over a highly polished solution created in isolation.
• Be able to verbally articulate opinions in a respectful and professional manner.
• You’ll be working with others, so don’t be an a**hole. Collaboration is how everyone wins.
• Experience with online design collaboration tools: Figma, Miro or similar.
• Basic digital literacy across both Mac & PC environments
• Ideally some exposure to design sprints, design thinking and HCD practices (or their methodologies at least).

Experience

• Mid-Senior level experience (flexible based on candidate)
• Experience testing your designs with users and communicating their feedback
• Knowledge of modern experience design practices

Other bonus traits

• Conceptual understanding of how code and the internet works
• Interest or familiarity with blockchain & Web3.0 
• Interest in design, fashion, photography, film, digital and creative industries
